What is a Cross Action Toothbrush Head?

The cross-action toothbrush has a rotating power head with crisscross bristles. It helps in cleaning the teeth superiorly with every stroke.

The bristles of a cross-action toothbrush can reach deep beneath the teeth. They remove the plaque better than a regular toothbrush, giving an ultimate and deep clean. Moreover, it keeps the smile healthy.

How Do You Get the Head Off a Toothbrush?

To remove the brush head, you must grip the head and handle in opposite hands. The bristles should face away from you. Then, place your thumb on the dots and pull the head gently using a slight arc motion. However, avoid snapping it directly in a backward direction.

The brush head of an electric toothbrush is replaceable. Twist the head counterclockwise at 90 degrees and pull it away from the handle. Slide the new head and turn it clockwise at 90 degrees till the arrows are aligned. The batteries of smart toothbrushes are replaceable.

Follow the following steps to replace the head of the cross-action toothbrush

· To replace the head, keep the new one parallel to the nick of the toothbrush and slide the head towards the handle until you hear a click and it’s in place.
